Bobbi Brown Limited Edition Warm Eye Palette

Hi Everyone!
It's been such a long time since I posted here. I'm the kind of person who needs space to myself sometimes, so that's the reason for my absence lately. Recently I have a lot of inspiration and I feel like I just have to share it with you guys. This blog is actually the best platform for me to talk about all these little things that inspired me, like fashion, beauty, health etc. So here I am back again, hopefully to post at least once a week or even more.
Let me introduce you my new little love, this is the “Bobbi Brown Limited Edition Warm Eye Palette”, the most amazing palette for everyday makeup. It has all those beautiful warm shades that I adore in my makeup looks. There is no way you see me without those gold/bronze/brown colors. This palette is all about natural and it matches to every skin tone. Don't be wrong, if you like you can create also a dramatic smokey brown look with this palette, for special occasions. There are 6 beautiful shades in this palette, 4 of them are matte eye shadows and the rest two are shimmery which is perfect for any look. This palette has a light shade (bone) which is perfect to apply in the inner corner, transfer matte colors (melted & sable) for the crease, two shimmery shades to apply on the lid (champagne quartz & gold) and the last but not least, a really dark brown color (espresso) to line the lash line or to create a really smokey look. Every eye shadow has its own function what makes this palette to a very useful product in all aspects. The only thing that I noticed about Bobbi Brown eye shadows is that they're less pigmented than my Urban Decay Naked Palette eye shadows which is a little bit surprised me cause they're both in the high end range. It's not something to be worry about because with primer it works just fine and I still very like how it looks. This palette also comes with a double-ended brush. I don't tend to use makeup brushes that come with palettes BUT this brush is an exception because it's really professional and I've achieved pretty good results with it. This palette released several months ago as a limited edition for the holidays so if you want to purchase this amazing palette you need to hurry up before it all sold out. They also released another palette with more cold undertones for those of you who are prefer cold colors.

M·A·C Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation

Hi everyone!
Lately I've been searching for a great everyday, high coverage powder which can be an optimal replacement to my liquid foundation. I feel that liquid foundation can be a little bit heavy on hot summer days and sometimes it looks masklike and awkward, especially if you going to be outdoors for several hours. I heard a lot of great things about M·A·C Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation so I gave it a try. For my experience I have to admit that this is truly a miracle. I have very oily skin and this powder mattified all the shine that I have on my T-zone area without looking caky at all. I like to apply it gently with my Sigma F30 Large Powder brush all over my face. This product has a big range of shades, I have it in the shade NW18 which means that it has a pink undertone. If you have yellow undertones, you should try the NC shades. This product also appointed to be a foundation with a very light coverage, so if you don't mind and you looking for something that just even your skin tone - this is the right product for you.
My score:  (5/5)

M·A·C Haul - Part 2

Hi everyone!
So here I am again, doing another M·A·C haul. I think that it's my favorite makeup brand right now, I'm just obsessed with it, it's kind of weakness I guess. I've wanted to purchase these products for a very long time but somehow it simply didn't happen because every time I visit M·A·C I found something else to buy and every time I say to myself that I'll purchase it next time. Finally it happened and I'm absolutely excited to have and use these products.

M·A·C 'Relentlessly Red' Retro Matte Lipstick

Hi everyone!
I'm so excited to have this new M·A·C lipstick from the Retro Matte limited edition collection. Inspired by Ruby Woo's overwhelming popularity and one-of-a-kind texture, M·A·C introduces new bold shades in its Retro Matte finish. I think that it's a gorgeous collection. To be honest, I didn't really like the Ruby Woo lipstick as much as I like the new collection with its new shades. The collection consists of 8 Retro Matte lipsticks and 8 Pro Longwear Lip Pencils (which seem to be the counterparts of the lipsticks). I found it hard to match the right shade of red for my skin tones and the Ruby Woo didn't look good on me as it looks on other people. So finally I found my irreplaceable red shade from the new Retro Matte collection which is 'Relentlessly Red'.
It's a beautiful bright pinkish coral matte, so it's definitely not a pure red color but it looks amazing on the lips. This lipstick is so pigmented and extremely long-lasting. The only disadvantage of this lipstick that it dries out the lips a little bit and you need to work with it to get the perfect look. I prefer to apply it over a lip primer (I use the M·A·C Prep & Prime lip primer).
Overall, I'm really satisfied with my choice and it's going to be my new favorite. This is not another red lipstick, I think that it's much more special. I found that the color that you get on the lips depends on the skin tone, so it'll show up differently on any person.
How about you? Did you try the new Retro Matte collection? Which color do you like the most?

YSL Touche Éclat Radiant Touch Highlighting Pen | Review

Hi everyone!
Today I'm going to review this 'Touche Éclat' highlighting pen by Yves Saint Laurent. I think that this is the most famous YSL product and a favorite of many. Yves Saint Laurent reports that one of these elegant golden tubes is sold every 10 seconds. Although I don't think that this is a 'must-have' product but it definitely can upgrade any makeup look. Despite its popularity the Touche Eclat seems to be very misunderstood by many people who purchase this in the first place. Most of the complaints surround the fact that this product doesn't provide coverage and will not camouflage under eye dark circles like a conventional liquid concealer. The discrepancy is that this in fact is not a concealer and therefore doesn't provide heavy-duty coverage nor does it promise it will. The Touche Éclat formula is unique in that it combines some features of a light concealer, color corrector and highlighter and as such is suppose to add light wherever its applied and hide any imperfections you may have. The purpose here is to brighten and draw attention to a specific area and not cover or camouflage it.

A Huge M·A·C Haul

Hi everyone!
Lately I've become a little bit crazy about M·A·C products. I think M·A·C products are amazing and they're absolutely worth the hype, even though they're expensive. I purchased some great products a few days ago and I want to share with you my first impressions.
I purchased an eye-shadow palette, four different eye-shadows for this palette, blush, highlighter and one makeup brush. Here are the prices (Israel prices):
M·A·C #217 Blending Brush - ₪141 (~$39.56)
M·A·C Pro Colour X4 Compact (eye-shadow palette) - ₪25 (~$7.01)
 M·A·C Eyeshadow - ₪70 (~$19.64) X 4 = ₪280 (~$78.56)
M·A·C 'Soft and Gentle' Mineralize Skinfinish - ₪161 (~$45.17)
M·A·C 'Well Dressed' Powder Blush - ₪120 (~33.67)
This is actually my first brush from M·A·C and I'm really excited to have one. I choose one of the most famous M·A·C brushes - #217. I think that I made a great choice because this brush is really necessary and useful. You can simply apply eye-shadows with it or using it as a blending brush. This brush has natural, really soft bristles and I just fell in love with it. It picks up a lot of product and you don't need a lot of it to get a strong pigment.
The next product which I purchased is this eye-shadow palette. Actually you can choose every eye-shadow from M·A·C collection and place it in the palette. They have several palettes in different sizes (X2, X4, X6, X15), I picked up the quad one with four cells. You can also purchase every eye-shadow individually but I think it's more comfortable to have a palette. So here are the eye-shadows which I purchased:
Nylon: a beautiful pale gold color with icy metallic shimmer in it. It's an excellent highlighter to make any area it is applied to stand out. I like to apply it in the inner corners of my eyes. This eye-shadow has a frost finish. This product works for most skin tones but is best for those with fair to medium skin tones.
All That Glitters: a rose-beige shade with gold pearl. Among the different finishes offered by M·A·C, Veluxe Pearl is one of the best - understated shimmer finish with a buttery smooth pigmented formula. It's very easy to blend and it looks amazing with any eye-shadow color.
Woodwinked: a beatiful warm antique gold metallic color that looks beautiful on everyone and particularly on blue and green eyes. I like to put this all over my lid and it gives the illusion of having two shadows. It blends out very nicely thanks to its smooth texture. This eye-shadow, as the 'All The Glitters' one, also has a Veluxe Pearl finish.
Corduroy: a perfect chocolate brown shade. This eye-shadow is absolutely matte and has no-shimmer in it. I like to blend it out on the crease and it completes every eye-makeup look perfectly. This is a very warm shade and it can be used for gentle smokey-eye makeup looks as well.
^Here are the swatches^
I also purchased this amazing highlighter or as M·A·C call it 'Mineralize Skinfinish'. I have this product in the shade 'Soft and Gentle' which is the famous one. 'Soft and Gentle' is described as a 'gilded peach bronze' which is a pretty good description. It catches the light in a beautiful way and what I like the most about it is that it has a very fine shimmer. I've always loved the 'Soft and Gentle' MSF from M·A·C on swatches, on people of different skintones, basicly on everyone. I think that it's a perfect everyday highlighter. It doesn't look like it's too much on the skin and just gives that natural glow. I just adore 'Soft and Gentle'. You get a substantial amount of product and a little definitely goes a long way. So this will last you ages.
^Swatch^
The last product which I purchased is this beautiful powder blush in the shade 'Well Dressed'. It's a gorgeous milky pink color with slight shimmer. It goes on smoothly, blends well and looks good with any makeup look. I know that this blush is a favorite of many and I absolutely understand why. This blush has a satin finish. It has a perfect amount of shimmer, just enough to give you that healthy glow that everybody craves.
^Swatch^
So, that's it for this time. I hope you liked the products and this post gives you some ideas for your next purchase. I would love to know which M·A·C product you like the most and why. So feel free to leave me comments and if you have any questions about these products or any other issues, I'll answer to any of them. Thank you for your attention and I'll see you in the next post! Revlon® ColorStay™ - A Tragic Love Story

Hi everyone!
This time I'm not going to recommend you any product and just share with you my big disappointment from the new formula of Revlon ColorStay™ foundation. I've used this foundation for about five years or even more and I absolutely adored it. It became so famous and many women around the world enjoyed using this product. I saw many beauty gurus on YouTube talking about this foundation a lot. The only thing that people disliked about this foundation is that it doesn't have a pump. It used to come with just a glass pour bottle which has its own limitations; you have to deep your finger in and contaminate the product every day. So finally Revlon have listened to all of her fans and included a pump. The problem is that it's not the only change in the product and they actually have changed the whole formula. OH NO! I have to say that it's not the same product anymore, it's completely different now. Why do I say that? Let's see...

Sigma Haul

Hi everyone!
I have recently become a big fan of Sigma products. I really enjoy using my Sigma brushes and I think they're amazing. The thing I like the most about Sigma products is that they're not so expensive but still they have a good quality. After being satisfied with my Sigma brushes, I decided to try other Sigma products. I've seen many YouTube beauty gurus using The Sigma Beauty Expert - Brow Design Kit™ to style their eyebrows. I've been very interested in buying this brow kit but unfortunately it sold out. Instead of this brow kit Sigma combined four types of Brow Kit Value Sets, each in his own shade. There are four shades available: Auburn, Dark, Light and Medium. It's not a bad replacement to the original brow kit and they're very similar. I ordered this Brow Kit Value Set in the shade Medium. Also, I ordered one Sigma Eye Shadow, I'm really curious about trying it.

Coral Obsession

Hi everyone!
Coral is a very popular color this summer. Till now I didn't like this color on me, I used to wear more pink colors. But then I understood that every person can match the right shade of coral to his skin tones. In spite of everything, I found the perfect shade of coral with cool pink undertone. Coral can be with orange or pink undertones. I found out that pink undertone looks better on me than orange undertone. Also lipsticks with cool undertones make the teeth look whiter.
Bourjois Nail Polish in 02-Prepp'hibiscus
The first thing that I purchased is this beautiful coral nail polish by Bourjois. This is my very first Bourjois nail polish and I have to say that I really love it. I like the formula, the color is rich and it's very easy to use. I have it in the shade 02-Prepp'hibiscus.
The other product that I finally purchased is the famous Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) - Rouge Volupté Shine in the shade 12-Coral Incandescent. It's been a long time since I heard about this lipstick. A lot of people told me about how amazing it is, so finally I have it and try it. I have to say that it 100% reached my expectations and I just fell in love with this lipstick, I can't stop use it. It spreads like a butter on the lips, it goes on very smooth, the packaging is so beautiful, the color is very pigmented and rich. It's very hydrating lipstick and it doesn't dry out the lips. I have just good things to say about this amazing lipstick except for the price. This is a very expensive product but I think it's worth it. I bought it for ₪145.00 (ILS) which is about $40.48 and it was in sale. As you can see the color of it is something between pink and orange, it's not completely orange and it have cool undertones as well which is great for me.

What's On My Nails?

Hi everyone!
From now on I'm going to upload some nail polish looks from time to time. So the first one is going to be this amazing Essie nail polish in 'Sole Mate' which I adore. Actually this is my favorite one I think... This is the prettiest red wine color that I've ever seen and I just can stop applying it. I use it mostly at weekends. Overall I just love Essie nail polishes, I like the formula and the wide applicator that they have. The only disappointing thing about this nail polish is that it's extremely expensive in Israel. It costs ₪51.00 which is about $14.14, but this fact won't stop me to buy it again and again...

M·A·C Haul

Hi everyone!
My mother was abroad last week and she returned with some great products which I asked her to buy for me. As you know in Israel everything is more expensive, especially the high end makeup so that's the reason why I prefer to buy those things abroad or in Duty Free which is tax-free store. As you can see, all of the products are from M·A·C and I just fell in love with this brand, M·A·C products are just amazing. Up to now I tried just their lip-products, so I was very curious to try out their other products. I heard a lot of great things about M·A·C paint pots and their blushes as well. I picked up their most popular mineralize blush which is 'Warm Soul', one of their best-selling lipsticks which is 'Angel' and two very wearable paint pots in 'Bare Study' and 'Soft Ochre'.
