M·A·C 'Relentlessly Red' Retro Matte Lipstick

Hi everyone!
I'm so excited to have this new M·A·C lipstick from the Retro Matte limited edition collection. Inspired by Ruby Woo's overwhelming popularity and one-of-a-kind texture, M·A·C introduces new bold shades in its Retro Matte finish. I think that it's a gorgeous collection. To be honest, I didn't really like the Ruby Woo lipstick as much as I like the new collection with its new shades. The collection consists of 8 Retro Matte lipsticks and 8 Pro Longwear Lip Pencils (which seem to be the counterparts of the lipsticks). I found it hard to match the right shade of red for my skin tones and the Ruby Woo didn't look good on me as it looks on other people. So finally I found my irreplaceable red shade from the new Retro Matte collection which is 'Relentlessly Red'.
It's a beautiful bright pinkish coral matte, so it's definitely not a pure red color but it looks amazing on the lips. This lipstick is so pigmented and extremely long-lasting. The only disadvantage of this lipstick that it dries out the lips a little bit and you need to work with it to get the perfect look. I prefer to apply it over a lip primer (I use the M·A·C Prep & Prime lip primer).
Overall, I'm really satisfied with my choice and it's going to be my new favorite. This is not another red lipstick, I think that it's much more special. I found that the color that you get on the lips depends on the skin tone, so it'll show up differently on any person.
How about you? Did you try the new Retro Matte collection? Which color do you like the most?

YSL Touche Éclat Radiant Touch Highlighting Pen | Review

Hi everyone!
Today I'm going to review this 'Touche Éclat' highlighting pen by Yves Saint Laurent. I think that this is the most famous YSL product and a favorite of many. Yves Saint Laurent reports that one of these elegant golden tubes is sold every 10 seconds. Although I don't think that this is a 'must-have' product but it definitely can upgrade any makeup look. Despite its popularity the Touche Eclat seems to be very misunderstood by many people who purchase this in the first place. Most of the complaints surround the fact that this product doesn't provide coverage and will not camouflage under eye dark circles like a conventional liquid concealer. The discrepancy is that this in fact is not a concealer and therefore doesn't provide heavy-duty coverage nor does it promise it will. The Touche Éclat formula is unique in that it combines some features of a light concealer, color corrector and highlighter and as such is suppose to add light wherever its applied and hide any imperfections you may have. The purpose here is to brighten and draw attention to a specific area and not cover or camouflage it.

A Huge M·A·C Haul

Hi everyone!
Lately I've become a little bit crazy about M·A·C products. I think M·A·C products are amazing and they're absolutely worth the hype, even though they're expensive. I purchased some great products a few days ago and I want to share with you my first impressions.
I purchased an eye-shadow palette, four different eye-shadows for this palette, blush, highlighter and one makeup brush. Here are the prices (Israel prices):
M·A·C #217 Blending Brush - ₪141 (~$39.56)
M·A·C Pro Colour X4 Compact (eye-shadow palette) - ₪25 (~$7.01)
 M·A·C Eyeshadow - ₪70 (~$19.64) X 4 = ₪280 (~$78.56)
M·A·C 'Soft and Gentle' Mineralize Skinfinish - ₪161 (~$45.17)
M·A·C 'Well Dressed' Powder Blush - ₪120 (~33.67)
This is actually my first brush from M·A·C and I'm really excited to have one. I choose one of the most famous M·A·C brushes - #217. I think that I made a great choice because this brush is really necessary and useful. You can simply apply eye-shadows with it or using it as a blending brush. This brush has natural, really soft bristles and I just fell in love with it. It picks up a lot of product and you don't need a lot of it to get a strong pigment.
The next product which I purchased is this eye-shadow palette. Actually you can choose every eye-shadow from M·A·C collection and place it in the palette. They have several palettes in different sizes (X2, X4, X6, X15), I picked up the quad one with four cells. You can also purchase every eye-shadow individually but I think it's more comfortable to have a palette. So here are the eye-shadows which I purchased:
Nylon: a beautiful pale gold color with icy metallic shimmer in it. It's an excellent highlighter to make any area it is applied to stand out. I like to apply it in the inner corners of my eyes. This eye-shadow has a frost finish. This product works for most skin tones but is best for those with fair to medium skin tones.
All That Glitters: a rose-beige shade with gold pearl. Among the different finishes offered by M·A·C, Veluxe Pearl is one of the best - understated shimmer finish with a buttery smooth pigmented formula. It's very easy to blend and it looks amazing with any eye-shadow color.
Woodwinked: a beatiful warm antique gold metallic color that looks beautiful on everyone and particularly on blue and green eyes. I like to put this all over my lid and it gives the illusion of having two shadows. It blends out very nicely thanks to its smooth texture. This eye-shadow, as the 'All The Glitters' one, also has a Veluxe Pearl finish.
Corduroy: a perfect chocolate brown shade. This eye-shadow is absolutely matte and has no-shimmer in it. I like to blend it out on the crease and it completes every eye-makeup look perfectly. This is a very warm shade and it can be used for gentle smokey-eye makeup looks as well.
^Here are the swatches^
I also purchased this amazing highlighter or as M·A·C call it 'Mineralize Skinfinish'. I have this product in the shade 'Soft and Gentle' which is the famous one. 'Soft and Gentle' is described as a 'gilded peach bronze' which is a pretty good description. It catches the light in a beautiful way and what I like the most about it is that it has a very fine shimmer. I've always loved the 'Soft and Gentle' MSF from M·A·C on swatches, on people of different skintones, basicly on everyone. I think that it's a perfect everyday highlighter. It doesn't look like it's too much on the skin and just gives that natural glow. I just adore 'Soft and Gentle'. You get a substantial amount of product and a little definitely goes a long way. So this will last you ages.

The last product which I purchased is this beautiful powder blush in the shade 'Well Dressed'. It's a gorgeous milky pink color with slight shimmer. It goes on smoothly, blends well and looks good with any makeup look. I know that this blush is a favorite of many and I absolutely understand why. This blush has a satin finish. It has a perfect amount of shimmer, just enough to give you that healthy glow that everybody craves.
^Swatch^
So, that's it for this time. I hope you liked the products and this post gives you some ideas for your next purchase. I would love to know which M·A·C product you like the most and why. So feel free to leave me comments and if you have any questions about these products or any other issues, I'll answer to any of them. Thank you for your attention and I'll see you in the next post! (:

Revlon® ColorStay™ - A Tragic Love Story

Hi everyone!
This time I'm not going to recommend you any product and just share with you my big disappointment from the new formula of Revlon ColorStay™ foundation. I've used this foundation for about five years or even more and I absolutely adored it. It became so famous and many women around the world enjoyed using this product. I saw many beauty gurus on YouTube talking about this foundation a lot. The only thing that people disliked about this foundation is that it doesn't have a pump. It used to come with just a glass pour bottle which has its own limitations; you have to deep your finger in and contaminate the product every day. So finally Revlon have listened to all of her fans and included a pump. The problem is that it's not the only change in the product and they actually have changed the whole formula. OH NO! I have to say that it's not the same product anymore, it's completely different now. Why do I say that? Let's see...

Healthy Nails By Nail Tek

Hi everyone!
Since I purchased new Essie nail polishes in different colors, I changed my nail polish every few days. This is actually damaged my nails and they suddenly become brittle and weak. I decided to take a brake from colored nail polishes and start using only a nail strengthener. So far I tried many different nail strengtheners and to be honest they didn't work for me at all. Sometimes it just makes it even worse. This time I've been doing some research over nail strengtheners online and I noticed that many people recommend 'Nail Tek' products. I heard about this brand before but it seems to me that this is another company which is trying to sell you things that isn't actually works and just costs a lot of money for some reason. But after I saw many positive feedbacks online over 'Nail Tek' I decided to try out their products... In this post I want to share with you my first impression of two 'Nail Tek' products that I purchased. At this moment I can't really judge this product since I didn't use it for a while but I promise to return after a while and share with you about the results of this treatment.
